Louise (Airey) Ray

Louise Ray, 93, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Chesapeake Woods Center. She was born in Cambridge on July 16, 1923 and was a daughter of the late George E. and Mattie Faulkner Airey.
She attended schools in Cambridge. On August 14, 1949, she married the late Little “Leonard” Ray, who passed away on July 14, 1982. Mrs. Ray was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter Kay Vrablic and husband Raymond of Cambridge, a granddaughter April Scott Adams and husband Bob of Sharptown, a great granddaughter Kelsey Burton Lane and husband Jordan of Sharptown, a great grandson Lenny Burton and wife Audrie of Sharptown and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Ray is preceded in death by four sisters Dorothy Edge, Charlotte Ewell, Murial Shorter and Mary Krazyanik, two brothers William Airey and Joseph Airey.
Services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
