A funeral service will be held at Old Trinity Church at Church Creek on Monday afternoon at 1:00 PM at Old Trinity Church with the Rev. Robert Gribbon officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining Churchyard. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Powell's name to Old Trinity Church, P.O. Box 157, Church Creek, MD 21622. Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
Luveda Love Powell, 90, of Easton, formerly of Cambridge, passed away at her cottage at the William Hill Manor in Easton on Monday January 5, 2009. She was born in Gay, West Virginia on August 14, 1918, and was a daughter of the late Grover C. and Myrtle Evans Young.
