Lydia D. Greenwood, 65, of Hurlock passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at her home. She was born on November 18, 1958 in Baltimore and was the daughter of the late Paul Dimitriu and Bertha Holden Foxwell.
Mrs. Greenwood graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1977. She worked at Airpax which later became Egide with over 40 years of service. Mrs. Greenwood enjoyed shopping, decorating, crafts, amusement parks, antique stores and playing games.
She is survived by her husband William “Billy” Greenwood of Hurlock, three children William "Bill" Greenwood, Jr. and wife Jessica of Laurel, DE, Tiffany Greenwood and fiancée Edward Brearey of Salisbury, and Danielle Christopher and husband Keith of Hurlock, seven grandchildren Adrienne Greenwood, Rylee Christopher, Landrie Christopher, Kayden Greenwood, Peyton Greenwood, Damian Greenwood and Everly Greenwood, three sisters Donna Killen and husband Bruce of Dagsboro, DE, Jamie Foxwell Ralph of Pensacola, FL and Andrea Karcher of New Freedom, PA and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Greenwood is preceded in death by two brothers Paul and Raymond Dimitriu.
Services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
