Margaret Louise (Weber) Borga

Margaret L. Borga, 72, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Chesapeake Woods Center. She was born in Altoona, PA on March 5, 1943 to the late John M. and Elma Williamson Weber.

Mrs. Borga moved from Pennsylvania to Secretary at the age of nine. She had lived in Cambridge since 1961. She graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1962. Margaret worked in food service for many years, working at local fast food chains and also William Hill Manor and Mallard Bay Care Center. She also worked for Rob Roy as a piece worker until they closed. Margaret enjoyed doing arts and crafts, attending Pleasant Day Adult Day Care Center and St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Margaret is survived by a son Francis Borga, Jr. and wife Ellen of Greenville, South Carolina, a daughter Rose Hollis and husband Sidney of Columbia, North Carolina, two grandsons Christopher Borga and fiancé Roberta Brady and Joseph Hollis, two granddaughters Rosanna Brothers and husband Doug and Kayla Nichols, three great grandchildren Madison N. Hollis, Kayla M. Brothers and Emma G. Brothers, brothers Elmer M. Weber and wife Debbie of Hudson and Edward L. Weber and wife Cindy of Secretary and many nieces, nephews and dear friends from A Special House on Henry St. in Cambridge. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a son Daniel Borga, her ex-husband Francis Borga, Sr., one sister Ellen Johnstone and special friend Riley Newcomb, Sr.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Sumner Jones officiating. Burial will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, c/o Scott Daniels, 205 Maryland, Ave., Cambridge, MD 21613.
