Margaret M. James

Margaret M. James, 79, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Dorchester County on September 2, 1932 and was a daughter of the late John and Tressie Adams Elmiger.

She attended schools in Dorchester County. Ms. James worked at Rob Roy and worked and retired from Airpax. Later she worked for Kmart and as a greeter at Walmart until her health declined. Ms. James enjoyed flowers, cooking and baking. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church since May of 1988 and Dr. Hines Bible Class. Ms. James was also a member of AARP.

She is survived by a son Raymond L. Aaron, Jr. (Sheryl) of Cambridge, a daughter Lynn Brown (Wayne) of Cambridge, five grandchildren Raymond J. Aaron, Hillary Shockley (Ryan), Renee Murphy (Tom), Becky Dodson (John) and Jenna Smith (Jonathon), and three great grandchildren Ryan Akers, Jack Dodson and Peyton Smith.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Aaron, Ryan Shockley, John Dodson, Ryan Akers, Tom Murphy and Jonathon Smith.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. Steve Trice officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to the American Lung Association, 209 East Market Street, Salisbury, Md. 21801. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
