Margaret C. (Cassebaum) Morrison

Margaret R. Morrison, 73, of Vienna passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. She was born in Somerville, NJ on June 16, 1948 and was a daughter of the late Gerald Joseph Cassebaum and Catherine O’Hara Cassebaum.

Margaret graduated from Bound Brook High School in Bound Brook, NJ. On February 25, 1967, she married Thomas William Morrison, Jr., who passed away on November 27, 2012. Margaret had worked for Super Fresh in Cambridge and later at Vienna Elementary School in the cafeteria. She loved being with her grandchildren and also enjoyed fishing, crabbing, making floral arrangements, gardening and feeding the birds.

She is survived by a daughter Lisa Reed and husband Bob of New Jersey and their daughter Brianna Reed, a son Thomas W. Morrison III of Cambridge and his two children Ashley Morrison and Thomas W. Morrison IV and wife Harlee, along with their mother Crystal Cornwell, six brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Margaret is preceded in death by two sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. David L. Kreek officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice.
