Margaret "Maggie" Johnson (Johnson) McKenrick

Margaret “Maggie” J. McKenrick, 67, of East New Market passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Dorchester County on May 7, 1949 and was a daughter of the late Milford F. and Mary Condon Johnson.
She graduated from Cambridge High School class 1967. On December 2, 1975, she married Owen Stanley McKenrick. Maggie worked and retired from State of Maryland with 30 years of service. She enjoyed swimming, camping and especially going to Gettysburg. Maggie was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Secretary.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years Owen Stanley McKenrick of East New Market, a son Jesse Shawn McKenrick of Cambridge, two granddaughters Kasuana McKenrick and Aaliyah McKenrick, a grandson Elijahjuwon McKenrick, a sister Kathryn Barnes of Milford, DE , a brother in law Ronald McKenrick of Easton, two sisters in law Patricia McNeal and husband Carroll of Whitman and Dorothy Bailey and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Maggie is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters Sarah L. Frase, Norma Eberspacher, W. Francis Johnson, Robert S. Johnson, Jacob A. Johnson and T. Benjamin Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Eberspacher, Todd Eberspacher, Randy Johnson, Warren Frase, Mark Frase and Doug Ramey. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Johnson and Lawrence Johnson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Father Stephen Lonek officiating. Interment will follow at the churchyard. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
