Marguerite B. Wilcox, 87 of Baltimore passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009 at her home. She was born in Taylors Island on June 6, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marguerite Brown Lambdin.
She graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1939. Mrs. Wilcox was married to Harold W. Wilcox who passed away in 1977. She had worked as a secretary for Towson State University in the Cook's Library. She was an avid bowler.
She is survived by a daughter Patricia Cole and husband John of Baltimore, a grandson David Cole and wife Wanda of Baltimore, two great grandchildren McKenzie Cole and Zachary Cole, a sister Madeline Shenton and husband Jerome of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father and her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Joyce Lambdin and a brother Charles Lambdin.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Brick Churchyard in Taylors Island with Rev. Robert G. Kirkley officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge.
