Mark C. Betts

Mark C. Betts, 67, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 1, 1957 in Cambridge and was a son of the late Christopher C. Betts, Jr. and Gloria Mowbray Ketelsleger and stepmother Gerry W. Betts.

Mark graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1975. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mark worked for John B. Tieder for over 30 years. He also worked on the water as a crabber and he also dredged for oysters. Mark enjoyed fishing, boating and cars. He attended Cambridge Wesleyan Church.

Mark is survived by his companion Lindsay Moore, four children Scott Betts (Amy), Shane Betts, Amanda Betts and Teresa Betts, several grandchildren, two sisters Christine Kidd (James), Sharon Tortello (Vernon) and several nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11am at Cambridge Wesleyan Church with Rev. Jack Diehl officiating.
