Martha A. Hall

Martha A. Hall, 79, of Hurlock passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at her home. She was born in Louisa County, VA on September 20, 1944 and was a daughter of the late Richard Edward Lafon and Thelma Martin Lafon.

She was the owner of Marty’s Daycare for 39 years and had to retire due to her failing health. Mrs. Hall loved her daycare children, family and her animals. She enjoyed having her family together during the holidays. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Dorchester County Daycare Association.

She is survived by her husband William “Bill” Hall, son Jason Lafon Hall, daughter Lori Bryan, son William Charles Hall, three grandchildren Brandon Bryan, Calista Bryan and little Jason Hall and a special nephew John Kramer and wife Crystal. Besides her parents, Mrs. Hall is preceded in death by two brothers James Lafon and Richard Lafon and a sister Mary Lafon.  

A celebration of life will be held at a later time. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
