Martha A. (Kraegenbrink) Mills

Martha A. Mills, 87, of Madison passed away on June 11, 2017 at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born on November 15, 1929 and was a daughter of the late George O. and Anna Tuckett Kraegenbrink.

Mrs. Mills attended schools in Vienna and graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1949. On September 9, 1955, she married Raymond L. Mills, who passed away on July 29, 2005. Mrs. Mills had worked part time at Meadow Avenue Shirt Factory, Dorset Laundry and McCrory’s. Mrs. Mills worked full time with Woolworth in Cambridge for 43 years. She was a member of Souls Harbor Church of God where she served as the Sunday school Secretary and Superintendent. She was also in the choir and the Ladies Ministry.

She is survived by two sisters Goldie Willey of Cambridge and Ruth Ann Wright of Preston and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Mills is preceded in death by two sisters Mildred Kraegenbrink and Louise R. Davis.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Roy Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Old Trinity Churchyard.
