Marvin Samuel Temple

Marvin Samuel Temple, 64, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at UMSMC at Easton. He was born in Sanford, NC on January 22, 1957 and was a son of the late Junius Marvin Temple and Frances Coudriet Temple.

Mr. Temple graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1976 and attended Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City, NC. He worked at Cambridge Wire Cloth many years. Mr. Temple enjoyed fishing, crabbing and collecting NASCAR and Hess trucks. He was a member of Church Creek Volunteer Fire Company and a past member of Linkwood Salem Volunteer Fire Company.

He is survived by his companion Carolyn Simmons of Cambridge, a sister Tina McWilliams of Church Creek, a brother Ricky Temple and wife Tonya of Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be members of the Church Creek Volunteer Fire Company.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Randall Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Church Creek Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 16, Church Creek, MD 21622.
