Mary Elizabeth (Phillips) Airey

Mary Elizabeth Phillips Airey, 74, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on February 1, 1941 and was a daughter of the late William and Mary Cheesman Phillips.
She graduated from Cambridge High School. Mrs. Airey was employed and retired from Airpax/Egide. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three daughters Cathy Ryan and husband Paul of Hurlock, Robin Abbott and husband JR of Cambridge and Hope Airey of Cambridge, two sons Daniel Airey and wife Donna of Cambridge and Mark Airey and wife Pam of Cambridge, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a brother Harold Phillips and wife Naomi of Cambridge, three sisters Judy Davenport and husband James of Hurlock, Lena Paulsen and husband Roger of Vienna, VA and Doris Quidas and husband John of Trappe and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Airey is preceded in death by a grandson Colt Abbott.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at East New Market Cemetery with Pastor Pam Bockart officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
