Mary B. Holliday

Mary Brummett Holliday, 59, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She was born in Pineville, KY on March 29, 1955 and was a daughter of the late Squire and Carrie Brock Brummett.
Mrs. Holliday attended schools in Pineville, KY. She was married to Michael R. Simmons.
She is survived by her husband Michael Simmons of Cambridge, her children Pete Brummett of Cambridge and Tonya Queen and husband Mark of Venice Beach, FL, six grandchildren, six brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Holliday is preceded in death by two brothers and her great grandson Michael Wallace Brummett.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Steve Bloodsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Cambridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
