Mary Lou Windsor

Mary Lou Windsor, 87, of Crocheron passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at UMSMC at Dorchester with her family by her side. She was born in Wingate on July 30, 1927 and was a daughter of the late Harvey J. and Beulah Tall Moore.

She graduated from Crapo High School class of 1944. On December 8, 1945, she married Crawford W. Windsor, who passed away on July 3, 2014. They were married for 68 years. Mary Lou was a homemaker. She enjoyed writing in her journal daily, reading and spending time with her family.

Mary Lou is survived by her children Crawford Windsor, Jr. of Stevensville, Ann Fitzhugh and husband Julian of Cambridge, Jimmy Windsor and wife Chris of Woolford, Cathy Mitchell and companion Jay Bradshaw of Cambridge and Steven Windsor and wife Renee of Vienna, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mary Lou is preceded in death by two sisters Catherine Linthicum and Nancy Parks.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor George W. Wheatley, Jr. and Rev. Steve Bloodsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.
