Mary Lou Harding, 84, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Cambridge on October 9, 1933 and was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Robinson Andrews.
Mrs. Harding graduated from Cambridge High School. On June 24, 1955, she married William "Bill" H. Harding. Mrs. Harding retired from C&P Telephone. After retirement, she worked with Especially For You, BB&T Bank and Jess Jr’s and Sons Body Shop. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and she also enjoyed going to the slots. Mrs. Harding was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband William “Bill” Harding of Cambridge, two children Karen Bowers and Kevin Harding both of Cambridge, four grandchildren Jonathan Brittingham, Jackilynn Walls, Nathan Harding and Ellie Harding, two sister’s Jeanne Roesch and husband Walter of Rockville and Barbara Wise of Mesa, AZ and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Harding is preceded in death by a sister Ann Johnson and two brothers Walter P. Andrews and Harry “Beaner” Andrews.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Harding, Nathan Harding, Jonathan Brittingham, and Allen Hoge.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 1 pm at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Joel Beiler officiating. Family will receive friends from 11 to 12 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
