Matthew J. Larmore

Matthew J. Larmore, 41, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was born in Cambridge on October 10, 1970 and was a son of Ruth Marie Green Larmore and the late James W. Larmore.

He attended and graduated from Easton High School, class of 1990. On June 14, 1997, he married the former Melissa Todd. At the time of his passing, Mr. Larmore was working for the Town of Easton with 22 years of service, operating the street sweeper. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, enjoyed working on his 1968 GMC pickup truck, working out at the Power House Gym and loved walking his dog Jeter, who passed away on July 3, 2012.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Larmore of Cambridge, his mother Ruth Marie Green Larmore of Mardela Springs, three brothers Curtis Leroy Larmore (Stephanie) of Salisbury, Douglas F. Larmore (Peggy) of Easton and Andrew C. Larmore of Salisbury, a niece Anna Marie Joy Larmore and his dog Jimmy.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Pitt, Andrew Larmore, Douglas Larmore, Curtis Larmore, Brian Hause and Tommy Mullins.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Mr. Phillip Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
