Michael R. Taylor, Sr., 54, of Hurlock passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Dorchester General Hospital. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on May 19, 1958 to Nina J. Gordon Lewis and the late Norman R. Taylor.
He worked at Allen Biotech LLC as an Industrial Maintenance man for many years. He enjoyed working on cars, classic cars, fishing, crabbing and he loved his 57 Chevy.
He is survived by five daughters, Lori Phippin and husband Thomas of Laurel, DE, April Taylor of Denton, Amanda Cowgill or Hurlock, Emily Taylor of Hurlock, Angela Taylor of Hurlock, three sons, Michael R. Taylor, Jr. of East New Market, Cody Taylor of Hurlock, Jeffery Taylor of East New Market, his mother Nina and husband Troy Lewis of Eldorado, three sisters Dorothy Price and husband Greg of Chance, Darlene Huntington and husband Jeff of Cambridge, Marlene Taylor of Federalsburg, one brother Robert Taylor and wife Kathy of Federalsburg, eleven grandchildren, McKenzie, Alexia, Samantha, Jessica, Daniel, Killian, Sarah, Chase, Bethany, Edward and Adam and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Carol Ross, and a brother Norman J. Taylor.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. with Pastor Percy Jones officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A.
