Mildred "Millie" D. Moore

Mildred “Millie” D. Moore, 68, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2021, at her home. She was born in Cambridge on June 24, 1953 and was a daughter of the late Milton Watkins Dean and Mary Jane Parks Jaglowski.

Mrs. Moore attended schools in South Dorchester and completed her Associates Degree at Chesapeake College in Business and was awarded the Wall Street Journal Who's Who of American College Students Award and achieved a 4.0 GPA. She was married to Odus A. Moore, Jr., who passed away April 28, 2012. Mrs. Moore worked for various businesses in the area as a purchasing agent and a business administrator. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a son John Christopher Moore, his wife Rebecca both of Cambridge, a grandson Jacob Christopher Moore, his girlfriend Alexandra Diffley both of Rensselaer, NY, three siblings; Elaine Drain of Bear, DE; John Thomas Dean of Colorado; and Milton "Mickey" Dean of Cambridge along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by a sister Barbara Insley.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
