Naomi "BB" Moore
January 10, 1920 — February 16, 2013
Naomi Robinson "BB" Moore, 93, of Toddville passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Chesapeake Woods Center. She was born in Toddville on January 10, 1920 and was a daughter of the late Mack and Lena Johnson Robinson.
She attended schools in Toddville. In her early years, she worked in Wilmington, DE and later became a beautician and worked in the Chatter Box in Cambridge. In her later years, she still worked from home and also worked in crab factories. BB's loves were her family, friends and her yard.
Ms. Moore married the late Nelson Moore in 1950 and had a daughter Valerie Dawn Moore.
She is survived by her daughter Valerie Dawn Moore of Cambridge, her only grandchild Scott Betts and wife Amy and three great grandchildren Dylan Hayden, Dawson Betts and Darian Betts. Besides her parents, Ms. Moore is preceded in death by a brother Leon Robinson and two sisters Mable Murphy and Reba Stoenberger.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Hayden, Dawson Betts, Joey Mills, Joey Henry, Skip Windsor, Jason Spencer and Scott Fitzhugh.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Churchyard in Toddville with Mr. Steve Bloodsworth officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613, Lakes-Straits Volunteer Fire Company, 2103 Farm Creek Road, Wingate, MD 21675 or to the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
