Nina J. Middleton

Nina June Middleton, 81, of Fruitland, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born in Washington, DC on October 24, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Edward and Ellen Schafer Dickerson.
She attended schools in Cambridge. She married the late Thomas L. "Sug" Middleton, Sr., who passed away on January 5, 1997. Mrs. Middleton was employed with several local restaurants in the Cambridge area. She enjoyed cooking and loved animals.
She is survived three children Jackie Pusey of Salisbury, William Middleton of Tampa, FL, Stephen "Robin" Middleton, Sr. and fiancee Cindy Travers of Cambridge, nine grandchildren Michelle Harding, Nicole Hasting, William "BJ" Middleton, Jr., Shannan Middleton, Thomas Middleton III, Robin Middleton, Jr., Jacqueline Middleton, Stephanie Middleton and Ashley Greenhawk, numerous great grandchildren, a brother William Dickerson of Salisbury, a brother John Dickerson of Missouri, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Middleton is preceded in death by a son Thomas L. Middleton, Jr., a brother Thomas Dickerson and a sister Ann Haines.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1p.m.
