Pamela N. Foxwell, 73, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Chesapeake Woods Center with her family by her side. She was born in Baltimore on September 6, 1944 and was a daughter of the late Homer and Pearl Hargett Newell.
Mrs. Foxwell graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1962. On June 30, 1972, she married J. Davis "Hoot" Brooks, and he passed away on June 26, 1973 and later on January 9, 1976, she married Glenn Foxwell, who passed away on May 15, 2007. Mrs. Foxwell had worked at Dean's Furniture, the Bay Country Bakery and at Chesapeake Woods Center. She enjoyed and loved her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she just received her 60 year certificate. Mrs. Foxwell also taught Sunday School.
She is survived by two daughters Lisa Brooks of Cambridge and Kathy Katulis and husband Dennis of Cambridge, four grandchildren Gregory Foxwell, Aubree Burton, Ashlee Burton, and Mackenzee Burton, and several cousins and nephews. Besides her husbands, Mrs. Foxwell is preceded in death by a grandson Nathanyel Burton and her step mother Helen Newell.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11 am at East New Market Cemetery with Rev.’s Dale Krotee and Steve Trice officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
