Patrick Christopher Willey, 39, found eternal peace on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
Pat was born February 11, 1969 in Kailua, Hawaii, the son of Donna L. Robinson of Church Creek and Jarrell F. Willey of Commerce City, Colorado. He was a 1987 graduate of Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and a soldier in the Salvation Army in Belleville, Illinois.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Joyce C. Jones of Woolford, stepfather, Roy E. Robinson of Church Creek, two special friends Charles "Chucky" Haetler of East New Market and Salvation Army Captain Georgia Rogers of Belleville, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Howard F. Jones of Church Creek and his paternal grandparents, Elmer "Buddy" and Connie Willey of Taylors Island.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Brick Churchyard, Hoopers Neck Road, Taylors Island with Rev. Dr. Robert G. Kirkley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army, 2 Glory Place, Belleville, Illinois 62226. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
