Paul Henry Weber, 63, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at his home, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Cambridge on September 2, 1946 and was a son of the late Ernest Weber and Mona Cook Weber Cox. Paul graduated from Cambridge High SchoolA in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army where he completed a Tour of Duty in Vietnam. On February 25, 1985 he married the former Deborah Christopher. Paul had worked for the Delmarva Power Plant in Vienna for 35 years.A Among other things, Paul was an avid hunter who liked to fish and crab.A He was an animal lover who trained hunting dogs and adored all of the many cats he owned or rescued over the years.A Paul was an accomplished cook who loved growing much of his own food in a home garden.A A He was a family man who enjoyed taking his children swimming and vacationing.A In his later years, Paul appreciated spending quiet time alone. Paul is survived by his wife Deborah Christopher Weber of Cambridge; three children, Paul Jason Weber of Logan, Utah, Jeremy Michael Weber of Cambridge, and Robert Henry Burton III of East New Market; two grandchildren, Carson Weber and Samuel Weber;A a brother, Ernest Weber of Salisbury; a sister, Linda Jackson of Chester;A several nieces andA nephews; and his beloved in-laws withA whom he enjoyed spending time. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Mr. James Dayton officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.A Pallbearers will be William Christopher, Michael Christopher, Edward Pridgen, James Dayton, George Wright, Jr., David Glover, Richard Parks, and Steve Jarman.A In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Paul's name to the American Cancer Society, c/o Doris Weber, 5163 Maple Dam Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
