Peggy J. Robinson

Peggy Joyce Robinson, 91, a resident of Autumn Lake Healthcare at Chesapeake Woods passed away peacefully on April 26, 2023 with her daughter by her side.

She was born on September 13, 1931 in Bishops Head, MD.  She was the daughter of the late F. Eberman Pritchett and Susie D. Mills Pritchett.  On December 10, 1949, she married Maurice G. Robinson, who passed away on June 29, 2002.

Together they had two children, Suzanne Richardson (Ronnie) and Jay Robinson, both of Cambridge; granddaughters Heather Richardson (JJ) of Cambridge and Stephanie Richardson (Shaun) of Richmond, VA; and grandson Jacob Robinson, US Marines serving in Okinawa, Japan; twin great granddaughters Kennedy and Kamryn Bourne; and great grandson Luca Tanner all of Cambridge.

She is survived by her children Suzanne Richardson and Jay Robinson; sister Dorothy L. (Dee) Adkins; special niece Robin Shockley; nephews Bryan Pritchett (Harriett), Wayne Robinson (Thedus Ann), Jeff Robinson (Judy), Jim Adkins (Mary Anne), Gary  Pritchett (Cindy), Keith Adkins (Kathy), Scott Adkins (Wendy); nieces Kitty Nikoden (Lenny), Saundra Parks (Benny), Cheryl Bramble, and Renee Harding; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.  Peggy worked for Airpax and then stayed at home with her children.  She loved to cook – she made the best yeast rolls, caramel, and coconut cakes ever.  She loved her family; family meant everything to her.  When her grandchildren arrived, she loved keeping them and having them around.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice G. Robinson; her father Eberman and mother Susie; her brothers, Waddell, Eugene, Webster, and Phillip Pritchett; and sisters Beatrice Pritchett and Betty Ferguson; niece Wanda Adkins; and nephew Jimmy Pritchett.

Pallbearers will be Jim Adkins, Keith Adkins, Scott Adkins, Ronnie Richardson, Guy Willey, and Bryan Pritchett.  Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Robinson and Jeff Robinson.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Dorchester Memorial Park in Cambridge with Mr. Jim Adkins officiating.  Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
