Raye Hurley (Moore) Abbott

Raye H. Abbott, 55, of Toddville passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She was born in Cambridge on January 22, 1962 and was a daughter of the late Ray O. Moore and Darlene Wheatley Abbott.
She graduated from North Dorchester High School. Mrs. Abbott married Edward Mace Abbott, Jr., who passed away on May 7, 2007. She had worked at Airpax and enjoyed doing crafts.
She is survived by her two sons Devin Hurley of Princess Anne and Brandon Hurley and wife Brianna of Delmar, three grandchildren Aiden, Elijah and Sofia, her companion Charles Hayward of Wingate, an aunt Linda Powley and husband Bubby of Golden Hill and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11 am at Dorchester Memorial Park in Cambridge with Rev. George W. Wheatley, Jr. officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
