Raymond Calvin Kell of Cambridge age 77 passed away on August 17th of respiratory failure in Easton Hospital after a brief undetermined illness.
Ray was an exceptional man who had the gift of making those around him feel special. Everyone who met Ray felt his love for life, his extraordinary enthusiasm and positive outlook! He loved his home on the creek in Cambridge Maryland, where he could be seen all over town with his beloved bulldog Rutherford.
Ray graduated from the college of William and Mary and went on to become an outstanding salesman in the pleasure boat industry. He was an avid boater and loved spending time on the Chesapeake Bay. South Bristol Maine held a special place in his heart where his family has a summer cottage. Before passing he made one last trip to his much loved spot before falling ill.
There are no words to describe the void that is left in the lives of all who knew and loved Ray.
We have been touched by the light of his positive spirit and though he is gone his spirit will live on in all of us.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Diane, his children Kim and her husband Bob, Shelly and her husband Mike, Scott and his wife Sue, Jay and his wife Lanie, and his grandchildren Carleigh, Danielle, Tara, Luke, Ty Garrett, Allie and Roy.
