Rebecca Rose (Robinson) Parry

Rebecca R. Parry, 78, of Crapo passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at The Pines in Easton. She was born in Cambridge on May 4, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Lurman and Mary McGlaughlin Robinson.

She attended schools in Crapo. On November 19, 1954, she married Albert M. Parry, who passed away on July 14, 2010. Mrs. Parry had worked at Airpax, Meredith & Meredith Seafood, Toddville Seafood, but later she became a homemaker. She enjoyed doing crafts, puzzles and playing bingo. Mrs. Parry was a member of Wesley Chapel.

She is survived by a son Albert Parry, Jr. of Florida, a daughter Kimberly Machado-Nunes of Frederica, DE, grandsons Matthew, Adam and David Thomas, two granddaughters Brittany and Ashley Nunes, three great grandsons Dominick Thomas, Roderick Hightower “Baby Rikk” and Everett Nunes-Peterson, a sister Lola A. Jones of Wingate and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mrs. Parry is preceded in death by a grandson Eric Parry and a brother Frederick Robinson.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Thomas Adam Thomas, David Thomas, James Nunes, George Parry, James Willey and Dave Jarrell.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 1p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Interment will follow at Wesley Churchyard. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Lakes & Straits Volunteer Fire Company, 2103 Farm Creek Road, Wingate, MD 21675.
