Robert "Bobby" M. Willey, Jr.

Robert “Bobby” M. Willey, Jr., 65, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. He was born in Baltimore on October 23, 1958 and was a son of the late Robert M. Willey, Sr. and Eleanor Pete Willey.

Bobby graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1976. At the time of his passing, he was employed with Hill's Industrial for 48 years. On May 13, 1978, he married the former Lauren Todd. Bobby was involved in stock car racing, enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the beach, traveling, and loved being with us grandchildren. He was a member of the Cambridge ELKS.

He is survived by his wife Lauren Willey of Cambridge, daughter Rachael Kerr and husband Matthew, grandchildren Hannah, Natalie, Tucker and Autumn Rose Kerr of Easton, two sisters Vickie Bramble and husband John of Cambridge, and Sandy Cox and husband Dan of Trappe, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by a daughter Roxanne Marie Willey.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Startt, Chad Kuneman, Scott Marshall, Matthew King, Mark Hill and David Hill. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Hill. 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 1pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Juanita Darby officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Dorchester Santa Toy Drive, 5203 Poplar Drive, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to a charity of choice.
