Robert Franklin Weems, Jr., 59, of Bedias, TX formerly of St. Michaels passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Flagstaff Memorial Center. He was born in Easton on November 27, 1955 and was a son of the late Robert F. and Charlotte Higgins Weems.
He graduated from St. Michaels High School class of 1974. Mr. Weems was employed with Marten Transport.
He is survived by his wife Donna Weems of Bedias, Texas, two daughters Kelly Weems of Easton and Barbara Weems of Bedias, Texas, a sister Danna Murphy and husband Lee of Easton, two brothers Brett Weems and wife Sandy of Harmony and Charles Weems and wife Debbie of Hurlock, a stepson JR Leonard of Easton, three grandchildren Christian, Cody and Joelle, a nephew Kevin Weems, two nieces Amanda Weems and Renee Harrison, two great nephews Philip Nicholson and Christopher Harrison. Besides his parents, Mr. Weems is preceded in death by a nephew Ryan Murphy.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. at East New Market Cemetery with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, PA in Cambridge.
