Robert "Al" L. Lauck

Robert L. “Al” Lauck, 77, of Hurlock passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Chesapeake Woods Center. He was born in Secretary on January 17, 1940 and was a son of the late James W. “Mike” Lauck, Sr. and Rosalee Willoughby Lauck.
He attended schools in East New Market and Secretary. Al was a waterman and also worked at Colbourne and Era Fish House in Secretary for forty five years. Al was married to the former Glenna Christy Whitman, who passed away two months ago. He enjoyed watching his favorite team the Baltimore Orioles, and watching football.
Al is survived by five brothers James W. “Mickey” Lauck, Jr. of Greenwood, DE, Chester Lauck of Cambridge, Michael “Louboy” Lauck of East New Market, James W. “Duger” Lauck and wife Anita of Secretary, and Bill Lauck and wife Pearl of Secretary, four sisters Patricia Coppage of Secretary, Helen Tyler of East New Market, Lily Jane Wooten of Cambridge and Edith Finck of Secretary, numerous nieces and nephews. Also he is survived by five step children and step grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Pastor Dennis Gilliard officiating. Interment will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
