Robert "Bobby" Leonard James

Robert L. “Bobby” James, 73, of East New Market passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Mallard Bay Care Center. He was born in Cambridge on April 2, 1942 to the late Lambert L. and Hazel Willey James.
Bobby graduated from Cambridge High School. In 1963 Robert married the late Yvonne M. Robinson. Mr. James enjoyed farming.
He is survived by a daughter Yvette M. Bechtel and husband Patrick, two sons Robert L. James, Jr. and Roger L. James, four grandchildren Mark Rippons, Adam Rippons, Robert L. James III and Anna Marie James and three great grandchildren Aeris M. Rippons, Lincoln S. Rippons and Adriana C. Wattay-Rippons. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a great grandson Ronan S. Rippons.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Rd. Cambridge, MD 21613.
