Robert L. Bell, Sr.

Robert L. Bell, Sr., 80, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Commonwealth Assisted Senior Living in Salisbury. He was born in Cambridge on March 23, 1941 and was a son of the late Ellwood O. and Georgia Bramble Bell.

Mr. Bell graduated from South Dorchester High School. In 1959, he married the former Delores Harding, who passed away on October 7, 2014. He worked at Airpax for 53 years. He enjoyed fishing and was a lifetime member of the Cambridge Elks.

He is survived by a son Robert L. Bell, Jr. and wife Debbie of Cambridge, a daughter Debbie Anderson of Salisbury, five grandchildren Robert Ryan Bell, Joshua Anderson, Jonathan Anderson, James Anderson and Abigail Anderson, a great granddaughter Isley Bell, a brother Ronald Bell and wife Faye of East New Market and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Bell is preceded in death by a brother Gary Bell.

Services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
