Robert W. "Bobby" Hall, Sr.

May 29, 1932 — October 27, 2015

Robert “Bobby” William Hall, age 83 of Hooper’s Island Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015.  Bobby was born in Hooper’s Island on May 29, 1932 to the late George William and Blanche Dean Hall.

He graduated from Hoopers Island High School class of 1949. Bobby was married on June 20, 1952 to his loving wife Mignonette “Minnie” Mary Hughes. Bobby was known as the leader of his Seafood Company, G.W. Hall and son. Bobby had many nicknames: The Trash man, King Crab and Poppy. He always had a roll of cash in his pocket and a ring of keys on his hip. Anyone who knew Bobby will remember him as a loving, fun man who was friends with everyone. He was a member of Hosier Memorial United Methodist Church.

Bobby is survived by his three children; his son Robert “Robin” William Hall, Jr. and his wife Carrie, grandson Brandon Hall and his wife Jackie, and great-granddaughter Madison; his son Bryan Lee Hall and his wife Jessica, granddaughter Amber Larmore and her husband Toby, great-grandchildren Sienna, Arden and Jackson, grandson Derek Hall and his wife Jessica and grandson Dillon Hall; his daughter Tammy Luthy and her husband Daniel, granddaughter Alison Cherry, great-grandsons Luke and Beau, grandson Garrett Luthy and his wife Kristina, and great-granddaughters Verena and Scarlet. He is also survived by his sister Frances Davidson and preceded in death by his sisters Ruth Creighton, Naomi Elzey, Ella Frisch, by his brother George Hall, Jr. and his nephew, whom was like a son, Phillip Blades.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday November 8, 2015 at 2 pm at Bucktown United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Joe Kelly officiating. A reception immediately following at Immanuel United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 5401 White Hall Road, Cambridge, MD 21613. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, PA in Cambridge.
