Ronald James Stoos

Ronald J. Stoos, 71, of Taylors Island passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his home. He was born in Pennsylvania on January 8, 1945 and was a son of the late Norman and Virginia Burkey Stoos.
He attended schools in Pennsylvania. Mr. Stoos served in the U.S. Army. On June 7, 1969, he married the former Rosemary Kroner. He worked for the Dorchester County Roads Board. Mr. Stoos enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary Stoos of Taylors Island, two sons Ronald Stoos, Jr. and Barry Stoos both of Taylors Island, three brothers Tommy Stoos, Norman Stoos both of Pennsylvania and David Stoos of Baltimore and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Brick Churchyard in Taylors Island with Rev. Robert Kirkley officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
