Ruby S. (Shores) Osborne

Ruby S. Osborne, 87, of Linkwood passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born in Virginia on November 15, 1933 and was a daughter of the late Moses and Rose Shores.

On December 5, 1950, she married Elzie D. Osborne, who passed away on August 24, 1995. She worked at Airpax, and as a bus assistant for the Dorchester County Board of Education.

She is survived by a daughter Donna Brake of Cambridge and a son Bill Brown of Felton, DE, a special granddaughter Jenny Miller of Delmar, MD and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Osborne is preceded in death by a daughter Debbie Voshell and a son Richard Osborne.

A walk through visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 11am to 12pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Services will be private at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. Face mask and social distancing is required.
