Sandra Lucille (Stine) Beecher

Sandra Lucille “Sandy” Beecher, 76, of Toddville passed away on October 13, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Harrisburg, PA on August 31, 1943 to the late Ralph F. Stine and Dorothea M. Tesno Stine.

Sandy was a strong-willed woman who would tell you like it was, but she was also very funny.  She was a wonderful cook, and her family will always remember her ability to make a “mean roast” and her wonderful stuffed peppers.  On December 23, 1995, Sandy married Robert Beecher.  She was a member of Wingate United Methodist Church.

Sandy is survived by her husband Robert, her children Lori Long, Gregory Long, Mitchell, Debra, and Robbie, grandchildren Georgia, Alex, Sia, Zander, Nick, Ariana, Sydney, Sloane, Bradley, Ryan, Cheyenne, Nicole, Joseph, and Great-Owen, great grandchildren Alex, Jr., Isabella, and Nikki, as well as her sisters Carol Jean Stehr, Louise Lute, and Doris McGurl, and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Stine.

According to her wishes, there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Wingate United Methodist Church, 2015 Wingate Bishops Head Rd., Wingate, MD 21675.  Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A.
