Sandra E. (Morris) Robinson
February 17, 1939 — July 11, 2017
Sandra Ellen Morris Robinson, 78, of Toddville passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. She was born on February 17, 1939 the daughter of the late Gilbert Morris and Lucille Jefferson Cheezum.
Mrs. Robinson graduated from Easton High School in 1957. She worked at Waverly Press until her marriage. On February 28, 1958, she married Elwood Jerome Robinson and moved to Toddville where she raised her two children, Sandy Kaye and Domie Joe. She was employed at Meredith & Meredith Seafood in Toddville. In 1979, she started working in the bank industry and was the Assistant Branch Manager, at the National Bank Of Cambridge when she retired in 2004.
She is survived by Jerome, her husband of 59 years, her daughter Sandra Kaye Ruth and son Domie Joe Robinson, her sisters Suzanne Foster,Cheryl Cullum and Debora Morris, brother Larry Morris, grandchildren, Courtney Horne, Ryan “RJ” Robinson, Amanda Zinner, Jana Robinson, Katelyn Robinson, Trevor Robinson, and Cierra Robinson, great-grandchildren Italia, Abriana, Teagan and Brayden and one due in October. Besides her parents, Mrs. Robinson is preceded in death by her sister Robin Leonard.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Robinson, Bryan Leonard, Ellsworth Jones, Jr., Johnny Holotik, Trevor Robinson and Jason Mills.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Barbara Mills Neighoff officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
