Shawn K. Peters

Shawn K. Peters, 60, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday January 19, 2025 at Accent Care Hospice at Harbor Hospital. He was born on September 4, 1964 in Cambridge to Leon Peters and the late Conchitta “Connie” Newcomb Peters. 

Shawn graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1983. He was a past member of Church Creek Volunteer Fire Company for 17 years. Shawn was also a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and later attended Faith Fellowship Church. 

Shawn is survived by his father Leon Peters of Cambridge, a brother William Jeffrey Peters and wife Lori of Pace, FL, two nieces Lauren Jenkins, and Kimberly Hancock and husband John and a nephew Jeffrey Peters, a great niece Morgan Jenkins and three great nephews Xavier Hancock, Andrew Jenkins and Leon Hancock.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a local fire department of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A.
