OBITUARY FORM
Shelley E. Johnson, 63, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on August 7, 1951 to the late Sheldon W. and Dorothy L. Short Windsor.
Shelley graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1969. She married Raymond E. Johnson on December 17, 1999. Shelley had worked at Roy Rogers, Cambridge Scientific, Nabisco and Eldorado Country Store. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and was dedicated to taking care her family and her pets. She was a past member of the Ladies of the Moose and was a member of the Chateau Community Church.
Shelley is survived by her husband Raymond Johnson of Cambridge, two daughters Adina Walker and husband Clint of Barclay and Jenny Toadvine and husband Rick of Eldorado, a son Raymond Johnson, Jr. and wife Katie of Thurmont, MD, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four sisters Karen Taylor, Ann Gerhardt, Brenda Yeatman, Cheryl Windsor May, a brother Winfield Windsor, a sister in law Frances Windsor and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Shelley is preceded in death by a brother Kelly L. Windsor and mother in law Rebecca Miller.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Barnett, Clint Walker, Rick Toadvine, Sam Taylor, John Taylor, Ashley Windsor and Curtis "Bear" Windsor. Honorary pallbearers will Billy Short and Dustin Lawson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Larry Wroten officiating. Burial will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
