Shirley Faye (Marshall) Kramer

Shirley F. Kramer 72, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Cambridge on February 7, 1944 and was the daughter of the late T. Ellsworth and Mildred Sellers Marshall.

Mrs. Kramer was raised on a farm on Ross Neck Road of the Neck District. She attended Hudson Elementary School and graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1962. Mrs. Kramer worked with Cambridge Wire Cloth from 1962 to 1969, then she moved to New Castle, DE, when she married Robert E. Kramer on August 30, 1969. He passed away on November 11, 2013. She worked at Abex Corp from 1969 to 1972, when she and her husband moved back to the Neck District and returned to Cambridge Wire Cloth (Cambridge International) from 1972 until she retired in 2010. Mrs. Kramer enjoyed lunches with her class mates of 1962 and co-workers at Cambridge International. She also enjoyed flower gardening, reading and her many pets.

She is survived by her son Robert E. “Rob” Kramer, Jr. and wife Heather of Hurlock, two step grandchildren Collin and Emma Kemp and many cousins.

Pallbearers will be Rob Kramer, Keith Todd, Bobby Sellers, Jeff Linthicum, Vernon Sellers and Vernon Hurley.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11 am at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
