Shirley J. Link, 70 of Cambridge, passed away at her home on Saturday October 9, 2010. She was born at Easton on September 17, 1940, and was a daughter of the late William Alexander Dyott, Sr. and the late Ida Mae Scott Dyott.
Shirley attended schools in Easton. She had worked at GNC in Easton, Cambridge and Salisbury, Wal*Mart and she had also worked as a waitress at English's in Cambridge and Ayers Diner and had also worked as a bartender at the Holiday Inn in Easton. Shirley enjoyed going to yard sales and going to thrift shops. She was stricken suddenly at her home where she passed away.
Survivors include six sisters Betty V. Sard and her husband Ronald Sard of Preston, Cattie Larrimore of Easton, Agnes A. Kraus of Easton, Ottsie Dyott of Easton, Faye Aikenhead of Preston, Frances Murphy of Hurlock, four brothers William A. Dyott Jr. of Easton, James E. Dyott and his wife Carolyn Dyott of Port Ritchie, FL, Harold "Squirrel" Dyott and his wife Sue Dyott of Easton and Herbert S. Dyott and his wife Dianne Dyott of Easton and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM at Springhill Cemetery in Easton with Rev. Drew Jensen officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Larrimore, Bobby Kraus, John Larrimore, Mike Dyott, Craig Dyott, Steve Dyott and Ryan Kraus. Memorial contributions may be made to the Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601. Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
