Shirley Lynn (Todd) Mayhue

Shirley L. Mayhue, 65, of Cambridge, passed away on November 2, 2016 at her home. She was born in Cambridge on January 9, 1951 to the late George Cook Todd and Shirley Elzey Todd.
Ms. Mayhue worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for many years at Dorchester General Hospital. She also worked at Airpax. Ms. Mayhue lived in Florida for a few years, where she raised her daughter until her death. She enjoyed traveling, painting and having fun.
Ms. Mayhue is survived by two sisters Joann Gilliard and husband Danny, and Holly Elzey and her husband Floyd, a special aunt Marie Hughes, as well as nieces and nephews Christina Gilliard, Jason Gilliard, Renee Warfield, Candace Johnson, Olevia Randazzo, and Georgia Elzey. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Carrie Mayhue.
At Shirley’s request, there will be no services. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge, MD.
