Stephen E. Hubbard, 46, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at his home. He was born in Cambridge on March 24, 1968 to the late Roger L. and Mary E. Towers Hubbard.

Mr. Hubbard worked as a supervisor for Cambridge Technologies. He played drums in numerous local bands in and around Cambridge. Stephen enjoyed going to the beach, listening to and playing music, making art and he loved to spend time with his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his wife Kimberley Hubbard of Cambridge, four children Christopher Hubbard, Brittany Hubbard, Tyler Hubbard and Nicholas Hubbard all of Cambridge, one grandchild Farrah May Lynn Hubbard, four siblings Susan Smith and husband Charles of Cambridge, Keith Hubbard of Georgia, Annette Turri of Easton and Tina Travers and husband Eugene of Cambridge, nieces and nephews Brian Cannon, Melissa LeCompte, Kevin Kahl, Amanda North, Katelyn Turri, Alexander Turri and Rachel Bradley, a mother in law Leila Smith of Virginia and a sister in law Darlene Geise and husband Scott and their children Kennedy and Connor Geise of Kentucky. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Linda Cannon and a half brother Roger L. Hubbard, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Chris Hubbard, Brandon Bradley, Mark Johnson, Eugene Travers, Devin Stanley, Brian Cannon, and Dolan McMullen. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Thomas, Mike Johnson, and John Murphy.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust St., Cambridge, MD 21613.
