Sydney Elise Hitchcock, 10 months old, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Memorial Hospital at Easton. She was born on December 12, 2011 in Raleigh, NC and was a daughter of Greg and Sherri Johnson Hitchcock.
She loved to laugh and smile and was to the point of starting to walk. Sydney adored her sister from the day she was born.
She is survived by her parents Greg and Sherri Hitchcock of Denton, her sister Riley Hitchcock of Denton, a brother Nick Walker of Mississippi, maternal grandparents Ronnie and Connie Johnson of Cambridge, paternal grandparents Paul Hitchcock and Eva Mencl of Mississippi, maternal great grandmother Audrey Johnson of Cambridge, aunts and uncles Dawn and Doug Ramey, Joy Angel, Paula and Brian Houser and Shawn and Diane Hitchcock.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Jay Hurley officiating.
