Teresa T. Holland, 76, of Linkwood passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born in Cambridge on March 8, 1948 and was a daughter of the late James Elwood Turpin and Mattie Bennett Turpin.
She graduated from North Dorchester High School class of 1966. Mrs. Holland worked at Airpax and Cold Water Seafood and she retired in 2005 from Dunkin Donut. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the slots. Mrs. Holland also enjoyed getting a fountain cokes from Dairy Queen. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and the Salisbury Moose.
She is survived by her husband Vaughn Holland of Linkwood, a son Jason Holland of Baltimore, three daughters Sherri Cox and husband Doug of Salisbury, Terri Humphrie and husband Keith of Laurel, DE, Wendi Bleyer and husband Jayson of Cambridge, eight grandchildren Derrick Richardson, Ciera Holland, Katarina Humphrie, Paige Bleyer, Alexi Humphrie, Madison Holland, Wyatt Humphrie and Peyton Bleyer, a great granddaughter Khloe Manning, her pet Idgie and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Holland is preceded in death by a brother James Turpin, Sr.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 3pm at Dorchester Memorial Park with Rev. Jayson Bleyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
