Terry E. “Bo” Linthicum, 68, of Church Creek passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Chesapeake Woods Center. He was born in Cambridge on November 10, 1948 and was a son of the late William A. and Celia Fitzhugh Hughes.
Bo graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1966. He served in the Army National Guard. Bo had worked for Cambridge Wire Cloth, he was a waterman, and later was a truck driver with Todd’s Transport, Preston Trucking, and Consolidated Freightways. After retirement, he helped several of the seafood companies and with Koski Trucking. Bo enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar. He started playing music in high school and he was the lead guitarist with the band Wayne and the Westerners. Bo was a member of the Cambridge Moose.
He is survived by his children Jeff Linthicum and wife Mary Beth of Woolford, Karen Linthicum of South Carolina and Brandi Saeed of Georgia, eight grandchildren Phoenix “Buzz” Bell, Jenna Linthicum, Chris Crouch, Kalynn Anders, Caleb Linthicum, Emily Crouch, and Will Linthicum, and Liam Saeed, a half siblings Lorraine Mason of Pennsylvania, a cousin Tom Brannock and wife Debbie of Church Creek, a very close family friend Judy Taylor and several aunts, nieces, nephews and other cousins. Besides his parents, Bo is preceded in death by a brother Darcy A. Hughes, and a half brother Robert Shenton.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Asplen, David Asplen, Tom Brannock, Henry Linthicum, Frankie Willey, and John Kramer. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Foxwell and Bobby Brooks.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
