Thomas Edward Condon

Thomas E. Condon, 76, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at his home with his loving family beside him. He was born in Cambridge on September 10, 1939 and was a son of the late George and Louise Hill Condon.

Mr. Condon graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1957. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Mr. Condon was a self employed truck driver. On October 10, 2010, he married the former Fredrikke "Freddie" Bertun. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, hunting, and socializing. Mr. Condon was a member of the American Legion Post 91.

He is survived by his wife Fredrikke "Freddie" Condon of Cambridge, a daughter Patty Robinson and husband Binky of Cambridge, stepchildren Angela Diaz of Texas, Xavier Diaz of Saudi Arabia and Febe Diaz of Cambridge, grandchildren Dalton Robinson, Natalia Diaz, Pedro Garcia, Jr., Alice Garcia, and Caleb Nater, a brother Robert Condon of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Binky Robinson, Stevie Evans, Danny Windsor, Wayne Burton, Donald Bell and Chris Condon. Honorary pallbearers will be Dalton Robinson, Billy Marshall and Bobby Hurley.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11 am at Spedden United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Avens officiating. Interment will follow at Spedden Seward Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to Project Life Saver, c/o Dorchester Sheriff Department, 829 Fieldcrest Road, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to Pleasant Day Adult Day Care, 2474 Cambridge Beltway, Cambridge, MD 21613. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
