Thomas W. Morrison, Jr., 67 of Vienna passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Dorchester General Hospital. He was born in White Haven, PA on June 7, 1945 and was a son of the late Thomas W. Morrison, Sr. and Mary Montz Morrison.
He graduated from White Haven High School. On February 25, 1967, he married the former Margaret Cassebaum. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Mr. Morrison worked as a landscaper in his earlier years and later he was the maintenance supervisor at the Bradford House Apartments. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his flower beds. Mr. Morrison was a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Morrison of Vienna, a daughter Lisa Reed and husband Bob of New Jersey and their daughter Brianna Reed, a son Thomas W. Morrison III of Cambridge and his two children Ashley Morrison and Thomas W. Morrison IV, a sister Beverly Paige and husband Richard of Florida, and two nieces Tracy and Renee and a nephew Ronald.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. David L. Kreek officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
