Timothy F. Norman

Timothy F. Norman, 66 of Hurlock, passed away at the Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge on Monday July 6, 2009. He was born in Winston-Salem, NC on August 6, 1942, and was a son of the late Fornie and Edith Cumbo Madison.

He attended schools in North Carolina and served in the US Air Force from September 9, 1960 until he was Honorably Discharged on September 8, 1966. While serving in the Air Force he had served with the 5010 Transportation Squadron. He has made his home in Hurlock, MD for the past several years. Mr. Norman was employed by Hi-Tech Plastics in Cambridge, MD.

Survivors include his wife Rebecca Jarvis Norman of Hurlock, MD, three sons J.D. Norman, of Winston-Salem, NC, Brad Norman and his wife Laura Norman of Jacksonville, FL, and Allen Norman and his wife Lisa Norman of Bakersfield, CA, one step son Chuck Morrison and his wife Leisa Morrison of Winston Salem, NC, eight grandchildren Evan Norman, Emily Norman, Austin Norman, Andy Norman, Aaron Norman, Leanna Morrison, Sydney Morrison and Kayla Morrison and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Rebecca Orr and her husband Lynn Orr, M.D. of Greenville, NC. He was preceded in death by his father Fornie Madison, his mother Edith Madison Norman and his step father Clinton H. Norman.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home 108E. Kinderton Way, Advance NC, 27006 with the Rev. Worth Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday. Local arrangements are being handled by the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
